Edit: Apparently I wrote this post on December 31, but I have no recollection of it.
Kind of like I have no recollection of having a blog most days. But I’m getting back to functioning like a normal person.
You know, holding a baby, shopping on Amazon, changing diapers and diapers and diapers galore. And is that poop on that or chocolate? Let’s not find out.
All the hype about having a baby is totally true.
We’re in love, we’re in love and we don’t care who knows it!
Eleanor Suzanne arrived Friday, December 28 at 6:41 pm, weighing in at 7 lbs 11 oz and 21 inches long.
She already has a claim to fame: Matthew McConnaghey’s wife delivered their baby just a few doors down on the same day! We had no idea of course – pre-occupied as we were with having a baby. My doctor was disappointed she didn’t know before hand.
Just a few little wrist bracelets. I ended the journey with a total of six. SO glad to be rid of them all when we left.
Isn’t she beautiful? We’re pretty biased around here, but I think she’s fabulous.
She is super cuddly and loves to be held in whatever position you want to hold her. She may develop a preference later on, but I’m completely soaking up all the cuddles and love she gives away now.
Ellie and her daddy. =)
Scrumptious. Her going home outfit was too much cute for words! Unfortunately I don’t think she’ll be able to wear it again as it just barely fit her now! She’s not chunky like I thought she was going to be, she’s long and slender, but her length makes it hard to find clothes that fit her just right!
Caught a little smile!
Practicing her “Hook ‘ em, Horns!” She knows where she lives.
Morning cuddles with daddy. She’s simply wonderful. So peaceful and “go with the flow.” I can’t wait to see her personality develop as she starts spending more time awake and less time asleep. Welcome to the world, baby girl! We’re so glad you’re here.
